My blessing and my course is I have too many ideas and not enough time to do them. So how I work it out is I document all ideas and put them on a nail on the walls of my studio. The nail then fills up with drawings, photographs and research ideas. At the end of this progresses I create a piece of work.
.
On last count I have about 107 nails with strong ideas developing, 43 unfinished dolls and 50 more other projects on shelves. The unfinished dolls and the shelve project are definitely 3D and out of the nail ideas, 67 will definitely paintings the others could go ether way.
Both 2D and 3D projects get broken down again into smaller sections. At the moment my paintings breaks into 5 categorises, My Lady's, Fairy-tails, Christmas paintings and 2 other sections I don't want to name yet. The 3D projects breaks into 7 categorises, 4 of which are doll related and 2 are secret for the moment.

Over the last couple of years my main body of work has been My Lady's (paintings). So as to get anything done I place my main energy on them, then I select one of the other sections and make that my pet project for the year. All except the Christmas paintings, my plan is to produce 1 a year for the next decade or so.
